History of Pink Monkey Soap Company
Pink Monkey Soap Company was started in a farm house kitchen. Debbie Olson learned to make old fashioned lye soap from her neighbor. Debbie made soap for a year, following the directions the neighbor had given. One day she began experimenting with recycled oils and came up with a soap that made her, and her families’ skin even softer. That was all it took and she was off and running.
Because Debbie likes to experiment she has developed a whole line of Pink Monkey Products. Her latest products are the scrubs. In less than 4 years she has expanded from just making lye soap to the products you see listed in this brochure. Who knows what is next.

Scent Data
Pink Monkey soap is chemical free with no synthetic detergents added. A true soap made with soft water and scented with fragrance oils. The glycerine is left in to keep skin from drying out. Natural additives like oatmeal, herbs and seeds are sometimes added.
Oatmeal Milk and Honey Soap
The benefits of Oatmeal come from its ability to bind to the skin. It acts as a moisturizer by attracting and holding water on the skin’s surface. In addition, protein components, such as cellulose and fiber, anchor moisturizers for long-lasting action. The result is softer, more elastic skin. Ground oatmeal also acts as a soothing agent that helps reduce redness, itching and many minor skin irritations.
Goats Milk is moisturizing and is packed with vitamins A, B, C & D as well as protein, calcium, potassium and magnesium.
Honey offers incredible antiseptic, antioxidant and cleansing properties.
Tea tree oil for skin care
Tea tree oil has many benefits for skin which include moisturizer, cleaner, anti-oxidant, increase the speed of healing and reduce the production of sebum
Pomegranate’s purported powers are plentiful. It’s native to Persia, where ancient cultures used the ruby fruit to treat internal disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, and gastric inflammation, as well as external skin diseases. In Greek mythology, Persephone ate a pomegranate and was reborn each spring. This promise of immortality is also found in ancient Egyptian texts and Chinese folklore, where pomegranate juice was believed to be “soul concentrate.” The Bible is also rife with references to pomegranate; some believe it to have been the fruit that tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden.

It can be applied externally for the treatment of many skin diseases. The fruit is helpful in digestion and is also used to prevent colic in babies. Star-anise is also used to extract Shikimic Acid which is used for making antiviral medicines for the Tami flu and also for the prevention of avian influenza. In addition, it is also used as a diuretic medicine. Star-anise can also be used to cure stomach aches caused by the accumulation of intestinal gas. This versatile fruit also helps in preventing headaches and promoting good health and vitality.
The health benefits of cinnamon can be attributed to its antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, astringent and anti clotting properties. Cinnamon is rich in essential minerals such as manganese, iron and calcium. It is also rich in fiber.
